Certificate Verification

AvidCert provides a public verification process for certificates issued by Cloud Avid.

You do not need to sign in to an AvidCert account to verify a certificate.

Verification by Certificate ID​

Each certificate has a unique identifier.

To verify a certificate:

  1. Open the Certificate Verification page.
  2. Enter the certificate ID shown on the certificate.
  3. Select Verify.

If the identifier is valid, the certificate information stored in AvidCert will be displayed.

Verification by QR Code​

Each issued certificate also contains a dedicated QR Code.

Scanning the QR Code directs you to the certificate verification process.

This provides a fast way to check the authenticity of a certificate.

Unique Certificate ID​

A unique identifier is generated for every certificate.

This identifier connects the PDF certificate to the corresponding information stored in AvidCert.

Verifying Authenticity​

A PDF file alone should not be considered proof that a certificate is valid.

To confirm authenticity, verify the certificate through AvidCert using its unique identifier or QR Code.
